Modular causeways systems

Article Abstract:

The chain links that help secure the last mile, a critically important mile, are the modular causeway systems (MCSs). MCS are floating platforms that enable the Army to move cargo from supply ships to the beach, and provide an interface between strategic sealift ships and lighters, and between the lighters and the beach or underdeveloped ports.

Land warrior award links present and future warfighters

Article Abstract:

The General Dynamics Decisions Systems, a business unit of General Dynamics was awarded the contract to enhance the current version of the U.S. Army's Land Warrior system. It is reported that they could provide significant improvements in lethality, survivability, battle command, mobility and tactical awareness to U.S. soldiers.

Prophet: battlefield electronic surveillance systems

Article Abstract:

An electronic surveillance system called Prophet provides both visual and audio surveillance capabilities to an Army interim brigade combat team. Mounted on a vehicle, the system can be used while either stationary or moving.
