Nanotechnology, the all-electric ship and future warriors

Article Abstract:

The U.S. Department of Defense is the world's foremost user of nanotechnology in national defense. The use of nanotechnology permits the construction of a smaller, less complicated, and less costly components for hundreds of ship systems, all-electric ships and future warriors.

Navy League president Timothy O. Fanning implored all members to get involved in helping the families of victims and the many families of active sea service personnel whose lives have been disrupted by mobilization call-ups, and extended tours of duty.
