New Naval ships from Navantia

Article Abstract:

Navantia, the Spanish National Shipyard set up in March 2005, is developing two completely new types of vessels under order of the Spanish Armada. Buque de Aprovisionamiento en Combate (BAC) or Combat Replenishment Ship, a double hull vessel dedicated to the sea supply of liquid and solid stocks, and the Buque de Accion Maritima (BAM) or Maritime Action Vessel, the other new vessel for the Spanish Armada, are the two new types of vessels that are being built by Navantia.

EADS going strong as a naval player too

Article Abstract:

EADS gave a presentation at "Third Day of the Navy" during which it revealed the fact that it's not only a major aero industry player but a major naval player too. The success of TRS-3D radar and new development capabilities will help EADS get a better position in the international maritime market.
