New tasks and requirements for a new command system

Article Abstract:

The Swedish Air Force has revived the central control concept as the best way to meet the demands on a modern air force with the introduction of the Air Force Command (FTK, Flygtaktiska Kommandot), which is a function of the aerial forces. Frequent practice is required to maintain optimum proficiency, and FTK participates in most of the SAF's exercises, national as well as international.
