Norway orders kits to extend service life for P-3 Orion maritime patrol fleet

Article Abstract:

The Norwegian government has ordered low-risk, cost-effective service-life extension kits that will add more than fifteen thousand flying hours to four P-3C and two P-3N Orions in the Royal Norwegian Air Force (RNorAF). The company is continuously working for incremental upgrades to Norway's mission system, sensors and weapon packages as these aircrafts perform a variety of missions that requires the user to counter emerging threats and accommodate new necessities.
