Operation-centric warfare setting the conditions for success at brigade and battalion

Article Abstract:

The 4th-Infantry Division's use of technology with digitized systems improves its warfighting capability in situational awareness, lethality, survivability and battle command. In each of these four areas, the enhancements in the sensor-to-shooter links have had a profound influence in the Army's ability to shape the battlespace and the division's warfighting capability as a whole. Division and brigade operations have a collection plan that uses sensors to kill, protect the force and select the time and place for dominant maneuver.
