Alcatel increases Thomson-CSF's stake
Article Abstract:
Alcatel SA of France has announced the formal conclusion of an agreement to bolster its cooperation with Thomson-CSF while divesting a major portion of its interest in Framatome SA. Terms of the deal call for the French government to transfer to Alcatel a block of shares representing 9.45% of Thomson-CSF's capital. This will increase Alcatel's existing stake in Thomson-CSF to 25.3%. Alcatel will, in turn, sell a block of Framatome shares to the French government.
