PRITHVI and beyond

Article Abstract:

The PRITHVI short-range surface-to-surface ballistic missile marks the first weapon system to be operationally deployed in India after 12 years of design and development efforts. India is currently continuing development of the three versions of the PRITHVI family. These are the 150km-range ship-launched Navy version, the 250km-range Air Force version and the 150km-range Army version.
