President Bush asks for $379.9 billion for defense

Article Abstract:

President George W. Bush has requested for $379.9 billion as the defense budget of fiscal year 2004. Of this, the Army's portion of $93.9 billion will be used for improving the quality of life for military personnel, training, mobility and sustainment programs for warfighting readiness, Objective Force related science and technology and research and development efforts, military construction and family housing.
