Providing engineering and scientific expertise to support the global war on terrorism

Article Abstract:

The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), the world's preeminent public engineering agency, supported the nation and its armed forces in the global war on terrorism over 2002 with a full spectrum of engineering and scientific expertise. That expertise contributed to America's continuing focus on homeland defense and security, to the victory in the war in Iraq and to the ongoing efforts to support peace and democracy in Afghanistan.

Army engineers: Supporting the war fighters and reconstruction efforts

Article Abstract:

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers are involved in applying the best science and engineering available to meet our broad range of military programs and civil works missions. The Army engineers are able to effectively and efficiently provide service to the nation and the armed forces in the 21st century due to the organizational restructuring and changes to the business processes.
