Bistatic and multistatic radar sensors for homeland security

Article Abstract:

Bistatic and multistatic radar sensors can be used as valuable augmentations to existing air defense systems for homeland security that afford additional protection to high value or physically vulnerable assets like nuclear power plants. It is suggested that the sensors and their inexpensive variant called Passive Coherent Location (PCL) can be adopted successfully in several applications.
