Article Abstract:

EuroTorp director Paolo Galletti said that the MU90 lightweight torpedo is a result of the combination of the best elements of the A290 and Murene designs. He also claimed that the MU90 can operate in any environment and at depths as low as 25 meters, dive deeper than 1,000 meters and attack nuclear submarines lying at the ocean floor and at a range of over 10 km. Further, it can be used as an anti-torpedo and its speed can be adjusted from between 29 knots to over 50 knots.
