Rheinmetall stages LLR demonstration

Article Abstract:

In mid-July 2004, an international customer audience was subjected to the demonstration target impact dispersion firing of Rheinmetall's Lightweight Low Recoil (LLR) L47 120 mm smoothbore gun. The main reason for conducting the demonstration was to show that the LLR was as accurate as the L44 120 mm smoothbore gun and it maintained its accuracy even when firing high-pressure rounds, despite LLR being lightweight.
