Romania to open new crime center

Article Abstract:

RomaniaEs General Prosecutor Ilfe Botos plans to create a new department to combat the threat of organized crime, including arms smuggling, drug dealing and money laundering. The decision to set up a new department comes in the wake of concams about the extent of the penetration of Middle Eastern networks into Romania, their possible involvement in terrorist financing, and their attempts to undermine Romanian law-enforcement efforts to counter them.

Saddam loyalists pose biggest threat to Iraqi security

Article Abstract:

The Multinational Division (MND) documentation reported that multinational coalitions goals are stable, self governing Iraq with a viable governing body integrated with the International Community. The coalition forces face threats including former regime loyalists, organized crime gangs, and opportunistic looters, smugglers and drug traffickers.

Bulgaria, Romania gear up for NATO

Article Abstract:

The benefits of the support of Bulgaria and Romania to the US policies since 11th September 2001 terrorist attacks, and their alignment with Washington during the Iraq war are examined. This support is observed as a reward for their steadfast support of NATO operations in US campaigns in Afghanistan and the Middle East.
