Special operations (SPECOPS) personnel are highly trained members of elite forces who generally use the weapons that suit their mission requirements, and are responsible for killing terrorists worldwide. A survey is made of specially designed weapons and adaptations of the existing equipment used by the highly trained members of special operation forces.

The U.S. Ordnance produces M60E3, M60E4 and M60D Enhanced configurations with kits to upgrade original M60s to present standards and the components are fully compatible with all the versions of the M60.
