Spanish air defence

Article Abstract:

The Spanish Minister of Defence is responsible for formulation and conduct of defence policy and the overall operational commander of the national Air Defence is CHOD Spain, who delegates the mission to (MACOM) Air Combat Command. The mission of Spanish Air Defence Artillery is to provide protection of Armed Forces units and vital areas and assets against air attacks and is involved in the development of a modernisation plan.
