Sparks on Suribachi

Article Abstract:

A private first class radio operator who was with Company F, 2d Battalion, 28th Marines, 5th Marine Division presents an account of the first flag rising on Iwo Jima. His duty was to report to the battalion communication chief, when the patrol passes through Company F lines and accompanying him up Suribachi to provide radio communications between the patrol and battalion.

Marine corps family team building at Marine forces reserve

Article Abstract:

The duties of MarForRes as Commander and Key Volunteer Advisor on 2nd June 2001 are assumed where the epeacetimeE family programs were developed and enhanced by their predecessors ever since the command was formed in 1995. A set of family programs designed for a geographically diverse and demographically distinctive force is mentioned.
