Maersk, Inc

Article Abstract:

Maersk Inc SVP John Reinhart believes that the shipping company's acquisition of the international liner operation of Sealand in 1999 has allowed the combined company to operate as a stronger organization. Reinhart sees the purchase as an extension of the two firms' 1995 worldwide operating alliance. He adds that the union has resulted in Maersk's ability to offer greater value for its services to its customers.
