Supercav: ASW weapon concept for sea shield applications

Article Abstract:

The Supercavitation (Supercav) Research team created a demonstration concept, maximizing the utilization of mature subsystems, existing infrastructure and state-of-the-art guidance technologies to provide a capability for near-term evaluation of high-speed underwater homing technologies. The designing of the modularity and size of the proposed demonstrator is such that it would accommodate evaluation of future science and technology developments in sensor materials and methodologies.
