TRADOC seeks wartime solutions from Rapid Equipping Force

Article Abstract:

The Army's Rapid Equipping Force (RFF) responds to a critical requirement and creates solutions and gets them to the soldier in the field to help them win the war on terror. The RFF's partnership with the US Army Forces Command and Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) is to support predeploying training at combat training centers (CTCs), as well as finding technological developments that are available that can be inserted into areas of the Army's battle command.

The US Army Military District of Washington (MDW), which is entrusted with a multitude of responsibilities, continues its long legacy as the most historic, dynamic and exciting command in the military. The MDW, which was designated as the core element for the Joint Force Headquarters for the National Capital Region, is in the process of continuing its transformation that began after the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2002.

Boyer trucks

Unimog, a multipurpose Boyer truck, used in the U.S. Army is described. Unimog is a commercially produced, single-axle by 4 by 4 truck often described as a system because of its wide range of capabilities.
