Thales SWARM Remote Weapon System

Article Abstract:

Thales SWARM Remote Weapon System (RWS) is applied to the armory of a modern brigade to improve the effectiveness in the combat and fire support role. SWARM RMS is fitted with a 12.7 mm Heavy Machine Gun (HMG), which is ideally suited for installation on Armored Personnel Carrier (APC), Command Post (CP) and a variety of other Carrier/Support vehicles.

Seen and heard at Le Bourget

Article Abstract:

The 46th Paris Air Show that was held at its traditional venues at the Le Bourget Airport on 13-19 June 2005 was dominated by the first public presentation of the Airbus A380 besides its military and commercial aspects. A condensed presentation of a selection of the major new developments that were announced during the show is described.
