The European simulation industry - an overview

Article Abstract:

An overview of the expertise of the European Union (EU) in the field of simulation technology is presented. The European Union have shown their expertise in various fields such as the development of complete simulators, multi-role capabilities, involvement of research organizations in the field of simulations and development of various types of simulators such as Image Generation Systems (IGS), visual display and motion platforms.

Article Abstract:

Details regarding the I/ITSEC exhibition that took place at Orlando, Florida between 6 and 9 December 2004 are presented. Evans & Southerland, Saab Training Systems, Rheinmetall Defense Electronics, Alenia Marconi Systems (AMS) FCS Simulator Systems and ViTra Systems are some of the major training and simulation companies from all over the world that attended the I/ITSEC 2004 exhibition and conference.
