AUSA is becoming more politically and socially active in representing the interest of its members. A new program called RAMP focuses on the role of American military power in working with Congress and think tanks about the Army. Details of other programs and directions of the Association are also presented.

The U.S. Army and Naval Aviation: partners in power projection

Article Abstract:

The end of the Cold War has seen the Army frequently called upon to establish a presence in undeveloped areas of the world. Depending on individual circumstances, these operations might most readily be handled by the Army combining forces with naval aviation.
