The Air Force has celebrated the one-year anniversary of the Expeditionary Aerospace Force program, with some 120,000 people deployed so far. Program details and plans are discussed.

Ryan's outbrief; the Air Force was committed to readiness - even at the expense of modernization

Article Abstract:

Former Air Force Chief of Staff Michael E. Ryan admits that, during his years in that position, the Air Force knowingly emphasized readiness instead of infrastructure and modernization. This policy proved to be effective when the Air Force was able to wage a successful campaign in Yugoslavia.
