Article Abstract:

The Objective Force is network-centric that embodies the characteristics of the Army Vision and serves the nation as a full spectrum force. By distributing the lethality and agility of mechanized formations among multiple 'smart' combat vehicles, the weight of heavy combat systems can be reduced while retaining their decisive firepower, mobility and shock effect.

Col. John Burke, the U.S. Army project manager for unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) systems stated the role of Raven systems for the U.S. Army for its future combat. Details of all the operations of the Army's UAV are discussed.
