The army chief: Boots on the ground

Article Abstract:

Major General Robert Mood, Chief of Staff of the Norwegian Army discusses and defines the main roles and missions of their forces and comments on current assets and future-oriented procurement programmes. He believes that the Norwegian Army is currently working hard to achieve the aims outlined in the latest Defence White Paper covering a period from 2005-2008 which describes an Army consisting of mainly one brigade with adequate ISTAR and combat service support units.

AIRCO - the French specialist for military aeronautics training

Gen. Jean-Jacques Brun, General Director of AIRCO, defines AIRCO as a major player in the operational commissioning of military aircraft and airborne weapon systems within friendly foreign air forces that are working in close connection with the French Air Force Headquarters. AIRCO provides services in various fields that includes consultancy, training, technical support and education.
