The key to effective presence

Article Abstract:

The Joint Mobile Offshore Base (JMOB) concept paves the way for envisioned movable, multipurpose, sea-based logistics facility, which could warrant access to an operation base in time of future contingency operations. Currently, at least three groups, namely Bechtel, Kvaerner ASA Lysaker of Norway, and McDermott Inc, are creating designs for a viable JMOB. Should a feasible design be produced, JMOB will be critical to the National Fleet being concocted by the Navy and the Coast Guard.
