The problem with democratization as a strategy

Article Abstract:

The problems associated with considering democratization as a strategy is discussed. The problems that occur due to the democratization could be attributed to the preference given by the people of a country to a home-grown regime instead of a governance imposed by outsiders and the hindrance in defeating the internal resistance, which could be caused due to the military constraints imposed by the modern western societies.

This time, let's not lose sight of the objective

Article Abstract:

President Abraham Lincoln successfully kept the nation's attention on the real objective of the Civil War, just as real objective of the War on Terrorism must be remembered. Terrorism survives, not just because of fanatics, but also because of the hesitation of meeting ruthlessness with ruthlessness.

Categorizing war is an invitation to defeat

Article Abstract:

The war in Iraq has reignited a debate that concerns about how to defeat the enemy who do not fight in traditional ways. Americans generally categorize war as traditional or unconventional, which is not advisable, as this would enable the enemy to dictate the conditions of battle independently.
