An argument is presented stating that Iran does not pose a threat to the United States because of its alleged nuclear weapons program or support to terrorists organizations, but more because of its attempt to re-shape the global economical system by converting it from a petrodollar to a petroeuro system. Such conversion is looked upon in Washington as amounting to an open declaration of economical war against the US since it will mitigate the supremacy of the US dollar.
