The war at home: Recruiters struggle to keep the Army from breaking

There is a mounting concern over the health and sustainance of the American armed forces, as US enters the third year of its war in Iraq. Professional and ethical dilemmas are faced by recruiters on the home front due to opposition from anti-war protestors, and bureaucratic inefficiency in the recruitment system.

Mind the gap

Article Abstract:

The alleged massacre of civilian by the US Marines in the Haditha, Iraq received strong condemnation in the media, milbloggng community. Irrespective of the outcome of the war, it is likely the gap between the military and civilian components of the society would continue to widen.
