Thinking for ourselves: The key to defeating terrorism

Article Abstract:

Terrorist attacks in the form of 9/11, the Madrid bombings, the mounting spate of attacks on innocent Iraqis and other similar tragedies has made people distance themselves from the deviant irrationality of committed evildoers. The key to defeating terrorism is not letting intolerance and disgust control the minds, thereby falling prey to the hatred and violence of newfound enemies, but to think independently and retain democracy.

Thinking for ourselves: The key to defeating terrorism

Article Abstract:

During crisis people usually follow a leader who manipulates and exploits them as is seen in the case of terrorists. Thinking for ourselves and preventing our minds from being controlled by intolerance, paranoia, dogmatism and distrust will help us in not falling prey to alienation, hatred and violence displayed by the terrorists, thus assist in destroying terrorism.
