Two Marines and a corpsman; a reflecton on the value of bravery and sacrifice

Article Abstract:

A daughter tells the story of her father's life being saved in World War II by a Navy corpsman, after two Marines had given their own lives in an effort to save him. She would like to thank the Marines for giving her a chance to live.

Preparing for promotion; in order to be properly prepared before being considered for promotion, Marines need to ensure their records are up-to-date

Article Abstract:

Each Marine has a set of records, and those records become the Marine's representation at promotion selection boards. It therefore becomes important that the records be kept current and accurate.

In Croatia, U.S. Marines learn from combat veterans; combined training benefits both participants

Article Abstract:

The United States and Croatia jointly participated in a military amphibious exercise, Phiblex 2000.' The benefits of the exercise, from the Marines' standpoint, is presented.
