US consolidates triservice network effort

Article Abstract:

The US department of defense (DoD) is taking an important step to attain its goal of having a defense wide network centric capability to develop a project interlinking the triservice network. This will create an architectural roadmap to combine the US Navy's FORCEnet with US Air Force's (USAF's) Command and Control (C2) constellation and the army enterprise architecture, thus all the three services will work in cooperation with the industry team headed by Lockheed Martin Integrated Systems and Solutions.
