Article Abstract:

Gen Michael Moseley, Chief of Staff of the US Air Force, stresses the importance of NATO in achieving collective security in the face of global threats, regional terror groups and conventional threats. He states that the United States is concentrating on three core competencies namely, Developing Airmen, bringing Technology to Warfighting, and Integrating Operations to achieve it goal of providing the lifeline to the joint international operations fostered by NATO.

Bulgaria: The process of change

Article Abstract:

Chief of the Bulgarian Air Force HQ, Maj. Gen. Simeon Hristov Simeonov, comments on the series of large-scale structural changes implemented by the Bulgarian Air Force in the period following the democratic changes that took place in Bulgaria in November 1989. The Bulgarian Air Force underwent deep doctrinal, structural and functional reforms in 1999 based on the 'Plan for Organizational Building of the Bulgarian Armed Forces until 2004'.

Enhancing the Middle East regional security environment in a changing world

Article Abstract:

The practical aspects of the regional security challenges in a changing world and the realistic measures that are practical and structural, which can be implemented to the collective security of the Middle East, are discussed. Jordan and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) share a major share in the responsibility for the security and stability of the Arab peninsula.
