Vosper Thornycroft, BAE SYSTEMS team for type 45 IPMS

Article Abstract:

BAE SYSTEMS and Thornycroft Controls Ltd have decided to join forces in a bid to capture the contract to build the Integrated Platform Management System (IPMS) intended for the Type 45 Destroyer Programme of the UK Royal Navy. The two companies, which have worked together on previous contracts for submarines and surface vessels, will combine their products and skills under the leadership of VTC. VTC is a unit of Vosper Thornycroft (UK) Ltd that specializes in IPMS.
