Transforming training and education

Article Abstract:

An insight of the concept of distance learning (DL) is provided with reference to some of the DL initiatives underway within the Marine Corps College of Continuing Education (CCE). The CCEEs objective is to lessen the individual MarineEs burden by offering new, innovative ways to accomplish quality training and education at a distance in garrison while deploying away from the continental United States.

Hill 881S and the super gaggle

Article Abstract:

The memories of the war fought on the Hill 881S in January 1968, and the support given by the Purple Foxes are discussed. The efforts of gutsy aircrew on Hill 881S during the siege of Khe Sanh are appreciated.
