Article Abstract:

Radio communications equipment have proven to be crucial in special operations forces' performance of missions in localities far from their base. Special radio facilities and systems security are invaluable in ensuring the safety and survival of special operations soldiers, who automously conduct their operations in isolation. Effective and secure radio communications equipment, such as the multi-mode and multi-band tactical ground-to-air (TacGA) radio, enable soldiers to perform thier primary intelligence gathering, reconnaissance, surveillance and observation functions.

Spectre V for the newgeneration

The new Datron Spectre GV radio equipment is touted as the radio technology for the new generation because it is equipped with high-technology features such as GPS capabilities. The new 30 to 88 megahertz Spectre V offers features such as easy operability and waterproof rubberized pushbutton controls, as well as a microprocessor-driven system. The Spectre V also comes with voice and data digital encryption and full-band frequency-hopping capabilities.

No hiding from the SSR 2000!

Article Abstract:

CCS International Ltd's SSR 2000 system is capable of projecting a clear picture of any contraband or device hidden behind another object or even within a wall. The compact device, which consists of a hand-held probe that is linked to a laptop computer, uses microwave RF technology to direct a beam of energy on the object under inspection. The discrepancy in the mass of the object is displayed on the computer as a picture of the hidden device.
