Article Abstract:

Joint Red Flag was a new version of Air Force's largest realist training event, which was held in the Air Force's vast training ranges north of Nellis AFB, and at dozens other sites in US. The Joint Red Flag (JRF), sponsored by US Joint Forces Command, combined live, virtual and constructive (computer-generated) missions to give airmen, troops from the other US services, and coalition partners an opportunity to work together and face rigorous challenges before actually heading off to combat.

Crew training for Armored Fighting Vehicles

Article Abstract:

Simulation technology provides alternate options for crew training for Armored Fighting Vehicles (AFVs) to prevent their wear and tear in training exercises and preserve them for operations. Details of simulation training facilities are discussed which enable personnel to access training on a virtual battlefield.

Article Abstract:

The results of the recent live-fly training exercises in India are an eye opener for the U.S. Air Forces. These international training exercises allow the USAF forces to fly against the best from other nations and the Air Force requires staying aware of enemy techniques including those of insurgents.
