Scott Bagby, Jerry VanderMarel, and Martin Stec formed Paradigm, a loudspeaker manufacturing company, in 1982. Between 1982 and 1999, Paradigm has become one of the largest producers of loudspeaker, and their products are particularly renowned offering high quality at a low cost. Bagby, VanderMarel, and Stec describe the how they produce new speakers.

NXT up against the wall
Article Abstract:
The new NXT panels operate as distributed-mode loudspeakers, and are so advanced that they approach the acoustic ideal of a smooth, dense, scalable speaker. A detailed technical evaluation of its diaphragm resonance is also included.
