A Big Board Member Sues To Stop Archipelago Merger

Article Abstract:

William Higgins, who has held a seat on the New York Stock Exchange for many years is suing the exchange and Goldman Sachs in an effort to stop the proposed acquisition of Archipelago Holdings L.L.C. Mr. Higgins claims that the terms of the merger greatly undervalue the price of a seat on the Exchange.

Court Rules U.S. Can't Pursue $280 Billion as Tobacco Penalty
