Article Abstract:

Chief Executive of the Building Centre, Terry McGivern has set up the European Construction Centre in London, UK to provide information on how to set up successful building contracts in Europe. It was officially opened by the Trade Minister Richard Needham on May 6, 1993. Funding came from industry bodies and the Department of Trade and Industry. Eight European construction information specialists have been employed. Membership will cost 350 pounds sterling a year. McGivern aims to encourage club members to set up branches all over the UK.

Charles Edward Russell: "chief of the muckrakers."

Article Abstract:

Charles Edward Russell, 1860-1941, was a journalist of the Progressive reform era who was able to hold to his radical Socialist ideology and still influence established political norms. His gradual reform approach made his journalism and his political activities acceptable to a wider public. As a journalist, he research style was much like modern investigative reporting and gave him a credibility other muckrakers lacked. He also changed his reporting styles depending on whether he wrote for Socialist or mainstream press.

Article Abstract:

Australia is home to people from 270-plus nations, each having its own traditional occasions, celebrations, and remembering. Food is always important in these occasions. It is used as a reward or a symbol of honor and pride. Despite being far away from their countries, their rituals are carefully observed. Various traditional recipes are listed in the article.
