A close vote? Let's hope not

Article Abstract:

The number of voters who will vote in the 2004 elections is expected to be anywhere between 118 million to 121 million which is a whopping 60% of eligible voters and this is the highest percentage of voters since 1968. It is important for the people to have confidence in the honesty of the process and the new President should fashion a bipartisan consensus over acceptable election procedures and technologies.
