ABC tries to bring its longtime 'dot' logo into prominence with a new campaign

The ABC TV network has begun a vigorous promotion campaign to get viewers to use its Web site. The campaign is centered around the network's 'dot' logo. The marketing promotion uses a technology developed by DoDots Inc. that allows the user to download ABC Dots Internet content packages.

A research firm devises an index intended to help companies better measure their online visibility

Article Abstract:

Word of Net has introduced its visibility index, which highlights an advertisers exposure on the Internet via search engines, listings, links, keywords and category listings. The "points of presence" allows a company to measure where its online marketing campaign is effective. About $6 billion is spent in online advertising. Word of Net feels their index finally makes the industry accountable. Advertisers are also able to monitor the success of the competition.
