APPLICANTS RUSH TO MEET DEADLINE FOR SEPT. 11 FUND

Article Abstract:

The Victim Compensation Fund reached its deadline to help relatives of Sept. 11 victims. Congress failed to pass an extension of the deadline for families despite extensive political support for a one-year addition to the Dec. 22, 2003 cutoff.
