B Com3 Group is combining Starcom Worldwide and Mediavest Worldwide into Starcom Mediavest Group to handle $16.6 billion in multinational ad accounts. Bob Brennan, who will run the company with Jack Klues and Kevin Mallow speaks of the new media services environment as war, with the new Starcom as having the biggest arsenal.

Publicis said to be ready to buy Saatchi in stock deal

Publicis S.A. has offered $1.5 bil in stock for Saatchi & Saatchi. Subject to big client approval, the deal would increase Publicis' U.S. presence. The announcement marks the continuation of 6 years of ad industry consolidation.
