BC Rail ends lockout as tentative deal reached

BC Rail Ltd., which is suffering from financial problems, has announced that it agreed to a tentative settlement with its 1,600 striking workers. BC Rail, which will end the lockout of its employees, has agreed to a 2% wage hike.

BC Rail, unions satisfied with pact
