B.C. gas firm's rules to ease: Critics say Terasen could be swallowed by foreigners and its head office moved.

Article Abstract:

Terasen Inc., Canada's third-largest pipeline operator claimed that B.C.'s Liberal government will ease its ownership restrictions on the firm, however, critics fear that the company could be swallowed by the foreigners and its head office moved out of the province. Liberal members of the B.C. Legislature in Victoria are expected to pass a sweeping energy bill before the fall session wrap up November 27, 2003.
