Blood & honor

Article Abstract:

Many a times U.S. military troops do not know the enemy they are fighting even though its is believed that most of the men rounded up are Saddam Hussein's henchmen which is not always true. It is generally felt that many alleged insurgents are fighting just to defend their honor or because they feel for their country being taken over by Americans and experts fear that indiscriminate rounding up of young men may well lead to a vicious cycle of violence.

President Suharto of Indonesia has ruled the nation for over 32 years by giving Indonesians the opportunity to have enough food and a stable living environment. However, with the Asian economic chaos, Indonesian people and even some government officials are calling for Suharto's resignation. The overall sense of Indonesians points at mismanagement and corruption within the government and the president's family.
