Canada beats U.S. in on-line banking use

Article Abstract:

A new report by Angus Reid Group Inc. has shown that Canadians are using online banking services more often than Americans. The report, which shows that 31% of Canadians would rather use the Internet than a bank branch for banking services, was commissioned by the Royal Bank of Canada.

724 rolls out Hanvit services

Toronto, Ont.-based 724 Solutions Inc., which is a software company, has introduced a new mobile banking service for South Korea's Hanvit Bank. 724 Solutions said the new service allows bank customers to conduct a broad range of banking activities using hand-held data devices.
