Article Abstract:

Fly-fishing offers the pleasures of solitude, finding oneself, nature and companionship, but a recent fly-fishing expedition provided nothing of the sort for the author and his friends. Stranded in the wilderness after their 1963 Land Rover malfunctions, the would-be fly-fishermen never make it to the secluded river, and instead spend time with a group of feral men.

Australians are increasingly taking to eating pork thanks to lower prices as compared to lamb but the rising dollar coupled with flawed import policies have queered the pitch for the meat. Animal welfare activists have expressed serious concern over the diets that are being given to the animals especially the growth enhancing pills being prescribed.
